The Green Fellowship is a two-year award for Teach For America alumni dedicated to sharpening their skills as teachers while serving as educators in the urban core of Kansas City. Green Fellows are tasked with developing and defining their theory of leadership through in-depth cohort discussions involving education, entrepreneurship, and global change. In addition to a competitive annual award and relocation stipend, Green Fellows will receive targeted programming and guidance from the inner circle of civic leadership to ensure the comprehensive development of their leadership philosophy.
The School Leaders Fellowship is designed to maximize the immediate impact of fellows while simultaneously providing stretch opportunities in the key competencies of a school leader. It is open to any internal or external applicant with strong skills in one or more functional areas of the school (e.g. instruction, culture, operations, strategy) and involves both work in their areas of strength, and learning about the other areas through shadowing and additional projects.
Fellows will be paid competitively for their primary function, with a comprehensive benefits package, and an additional $15,000 School Leaders Fellowship Stipend.

The Ryan Fellowship is a 3 year, highly individualized, fully-funded principal development program designed to support new principals in autonomous schools across the country. After completing Accelerate Summer Institute, Ryan Fellows enter into a one-year paid Fellowship at a school in their region for their Field Study. During this time, while working with their Advisor and Field Study Site Principal, Ryan Fellows are developing their Playbook, or plan for principalship. The Fellowship year is followed by two years of ongoing training and advisory support during the Fellows’ first two years as principals.
U*PAL, the Urban Principals Academy @ Lehigh, is a pragmatic and imaginative Education Leadership Master's Program at Lehigh University. It is a 30 credit degree program which includes a full year Internship. Our program is offered in both an accelerated one year model (AMPEL), as well as our traditional two year model. All our graduates are fully prepared to take the NYSED School Building Leader (SBL) Certification Exam, and a large majority of our graduates have obtained leadership positions within a short time after graduation!

The Collaborative Leadership Advancing School Success (CLASS) program equips passionate teachers with the tools to become change agents and leaders of influence in their school communities. In partnership with Hunter College, CLASS is a clinically-based school leadership program that engages teachers as learners and leaders, readying them to supervise and support the professional development of fellow teachers and the management of systems at the building and district levels. Teachers graduate from CLASS with a master’s degree, equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to pass the School Building Leader (SBL) and School District Leader (SDL) advanced graduate certificate exams.
Bank Street views leadership as transformative, humane, collaborative, and personal. Our programs address the practical and theoretical foundations of educational leadership, including adult development, organizational systems, modes of supervision, curriculum and professional development. Each program includes extensive supervised fieldwork under the close mentorship of a faculty advisor, usually in one’s own school or educational setting.
The Fisher Fellowship is a highly-selective, one-year, cohort-based leadership program that prepares leaders to found, lead, and grow a new high-performing KIPP school. Through in-person programming, residencies in current KIPP schools where fellows shadow a high-performing school leader, and the development of a robust school design plan, each Fisher Fellow emerges from the experience prepared to open a new KIPP school. The Miles Family Fellowship supports the development of assistant principals that are next in line to lead a school. Miles Family Fellows serve as assistant principals in a KIPP school and receive formal training through weekend workshops and engage in rich cohort-based experiences that support their development during the programming year and beyond.
